Education
A major component of the Strategic Plan for Harper District and Honorable P. Mike Jurry's Work and Agenda is Primary and continuous education, which will significantly impact Harper's youth population by fostering personal development, economic opportunities, and social cohesion.
Access to primary education equips youth with foundational literacy and numeracy skills, enabling them to pursue further education and employment opportunities. Continuous education programs, including vocational training and adult education, provide avenues for skill development and income generation, reducing poverty levels and promoting economic growth. Moreover, education promotes health literacy, gender equality, and citizenship, empowering youth to make informed decisions, contribute to their communities, and participate actively in civic life.
