Education

1. Five (5) students enrolled at Fatima High School

2. Two (2) students enrolled at J. S. Pratt High School

3. Five (5) students enrolled at Jireh Faith High School

4. Twenty-five (25) students enrolled at Cape Palmas High School

5. Seventeen (17) students enrolled at Tubman University

6. Three (3) students enrolled at Yuakpe Elementary School

7. Nine (9) students enrolled at Access to College

8. Paid WAEC re-sitter fees for 19 students

9. One (1) student on a partial (not governmental) connection scholarship, former employee of the office, in China for post graduate studies

10. Two (2) students sent to go to South Africa for post graduate studies and 2 students sent to Uganda for post graduate studies

11. One (1) student at Stars College of Technology for under graduate studies

12. In collaboration with Gbowee Foundation for Peace, 56 students in Maryland County each received back-packs, copybooks and $20 for uniforms for obtaining 90% average and above.

13. WASSCE textbooks and sample questions for all centers in Maryland County

14. Ensured that 76 teachers of BRIDGE got on payroll. Received another payroll request for 97 teachers and is pending personnel action notice (PAN)

15. Negotiation ongoing for a visit to Tubman University by the British Embassy to explain the Cheveny Scholarship

16. Construction of the E-library for the Engineering College of Tubman University is ongoing



Finance

1. Cash (L$6,000,000.00) distribution venture – Election appreciation to communities

2. Cash (L$100,000.00) support to November 29 county celebration

3. Cash (L$125,000.00) support to county team

4. Involvement with the release of Tubman University budget allotment release

5. Involvement with the J J Dossen Hospital budget allotment release

Employment

1. Employment of 10 graduates of Tubman University at LEC in Monrovia

2. Employment of 3 graduates of Tubman University at CRC

3. Ensured that 76 teachers of BRIDGE got on payroll.

Agriculture

Signed a MOU between Tubman University and Green Gold. The joint venture is to develop alternative energy systems within TU main campus. TU provides the students and theoretical training and GGL provides the practical training for TU students in the field of Renewable Energy from agriculture waste. Renewable initiatives will include but not limited to:

Bio-Briquettes

Biogas

Biodiesel

Bio ethanol

Plastic Sand Building materials (Interlocking Blocks, Roofing tiles, Pavers)


International Relations

1. Travel to London on a delegation to reestablish bilateral parliamentary relationship between Liberia and Great Britain. The visit made the acceptance of Great Britain to agree to administer the ITELS

2. Travel to the USA to present Harper District Strategic Plan to the National Association of Maryland County Associations from Liberia – NAMCAL

Lawmaking and oversight

1. Introduced the Liberia Electoral Court Bill. The ACT is in committee room awaiting constitution referendum.

2. Introduced the President Interaction Proceedings with the House of Representatives. The Proceedings is besieged by the Speaker of the House.

3. Wrote several communications to the honorable house bringing their attention to the following issues:

a. Bridge teachers go-slow action in Maryland County.

b. Consistent fluctuating outage of network coverage in Maryland County. Lonestar Cell was summoned and wrote a promissory letter to improve network in Maryland County and has done so.

c. Call for the report of the Special Task Force commissioned by President Weah to retrieve government vehicles.

4. Release of Tubman University vehicle from the GSA.

5. Invited the management of Caterina to explain reasons why the ship delayed in transporting goods to Harper. Requested the management to make announcement of their challenges on Radio Phoenix.

6. Interceded in the resolution of the nurses strike action for their names to be restored on salary and benefits matters


Others

1. Opening of a home office

2. Compilation of the Harper District Strategic Plan

3. Architectural designs of Youth Center and Primary School made

4. Identified the construction of a youth center in Hoffman Station and is now awaiting government to begin

5. Visited the district 4 times

6. funded and supervised the Harper District Representative website
